How are shipping charges calculated

Shipping prices depend on size and weight.

Based on the country of origin and the final destination, some orders may be subject to customs and/or import fees. Customs fees are calculated based on import, brokerage, duties, and taxes, and are not included in the delivery fee quoted at checkout. They will be assessed once the artwork enters the destination country and must be paid by the order recipient. Please contact your local customs office for more information. For international shipping please get in touch for a quote.

Please note that any customs or import charges incurred by the customer are non-refundable.

What is a secure shipping address?

No one wants to see your piece left out in the cold or rain, or stolen before you even get to love it! So please be sure to provide a delivery address where you are certain someone will be able to receive, sign for, & look after your rental artwork when it arrives. This may be your office, home, with a trusted friend, neighbour etc.

My order has not arrived

We try to ship all artwork within 7-10 days of order. However, sometimes with bespoke frame orders, the framing process can add an extra 2 weeks onto the order time. If you have any questions about your order or need an order urgently, reply to the the email we have sent you with your order confirmation and we'll do our best to help!

What is your returns policy?

We have a 7 day returns policy for work purchased online which applies for damaged works as well. Please note that any refunds need to be done within in this time frame.

Please Note: If we've organised framing for the artwork, we can't refund you the framing cost. That's because any changing, replacement, reframing or addition of framing for work sold ‘unframed’ is bespoke for each artwork. We also can't refund you the original shipping cost.  

How do I return the artwork?

It is up to you to return any work back to us. The returns should go to Emerge Contemporary, 26 Highgate High Street, London, N6 5JG
Make sure the artwork is securely packaged for transport - we recommend that you use the original packaging.

When does the refund get issued?

We'll process your refund once the artist has received the artwork and checked that it's in good condition.
